Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy helps people do the everyday things that are important to them, such as dressing, cooking, writing, working, learning, and caring for themselves. It is especially valuable after injury, illness, surgery, or when living with a disability or long-term condition.
At Potch Health Care, Occupational Therapy is focused on improving independence, restoring function, reducing limitations, and supporting a better quality of life.

Why Occupational Therapy Matters

Recovery is not only about healing. It is also about getting back to living. Occupational Therapy helps patients return to meaningful daily activities safely and confidently. This may include improving movement, managing pain or stiffness, protecting joints, using assistive devices, adapting routines, and building skills for home, school, or work.
Our approach is practical, supportive, and tailored to the needs of each patient.

  • Recovery after injury or surgery
  • Hand, arm, or upper limb conditions
  • Pain, stiffness, or weakness affecting daily tasks
  • Rehabilitation after stroke or physical trauma
  • Developmental challenges in children
service-d-list

Your Occupational Therapy appointment will begin with understanding your condition, your challenges, and the activities that matter most to you. From there, therapy may include assessment, hands-on support, guided exercises, splinting, education, home advice, and practical strategies to improve everyday function. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, because every patient’s needs, goals, and recovery journey are different.
